I am Indra Pramana who won 2nd place in the Volleyball Sports Week and won 1st place in the Pencak Silat National Championship.  I'm 20 years old.  I was born on the 24th of April 1998 in Jrengik, the border of Sampang Regency and Bangkalan Regency.  I was born from a simple family where they were the ones who made me motivated to achieve all my dreams.

When I was a teenager, I went to school at Vocational High School 2th Sampang.  I chose the vocational school over the usual high school because I prefer doing things in the field, doing real activities, and doing practices rather than listening to theory in class without making me understand how to go straight into the field like high school in general.

Besides that, I am interested and believe in the slogan circulating in the community that "vocatinal high school graduates are ready to work".  I concluded that the vocational high school is a school that can hone skills.  Therefore I want to hone my talents in the field of multimedia in Vocational High School 2 Sampang, majoring in multimedia and continuing study at STT Malang.

I began to got achievements when I was in 2nd grade.  However, the achievements that I have achieved are not related to my talents, not the world of multimedia or gadgets.  I actually won in the regency class in volleyball sports and the first place in senior high school in Sampang Regency.

I love volleyball because of my hobbies.  That love led me to win many champions.  Some impressive champions for me were at the regency level, I got it twice.  I could not waste my knowledge and talent.  I started practicing playing volleyball since I was a child, during this high school I was able to prove my talent from my hobby in this school

However, even when we won the championship at the regency level that should be had a big prize, I never got any prize from our struggle. This makes me lazy even I stop to continue playing volleyball. In the end, I moved into a sports cab from volleyball to martial arts.

I started studying martial arts since I was in high school, but I focused on studying it in college.  At first I learned martial arts for self defense, to protect myself, for my furute and the sunnah of the prophet.  “If you seek knowledge, you think you will live 1,000 years, but if for worship, assume you will die tomorrow.” That is my guideline in life to keep the spirit of seeking knowledge, whatever it is.

When I was in 3rd semester , I participated in the Merpati Putih national championship selection and managed to get the champion.  I represent all over Malang.  I could not realize that I would be able to get first place at the national level like this.  Every day and night I have to exercise through the hot and rain to improve martial arts techniques.  Because all efforts will always be in accordance with the results.  Therefore I never expected results and always put forward the efforts to be what it is today.

But there are some things you should know, in my opinion pencak silat (a martial art) is penuntun cari kawan dan silaturahmi (a guide to find friends and hospitality).  Actually, champions and arts are only a distraction, the main goal is to make hospitality more to humanizing humans. A martial art is not just hitting and beating up others, but on the contrary.  We have to help each other and keep the friendship.
